A native of Jamestown, Rick Lee wrestled for the Sioux from 1973-77 before going on to earn his bachelor’s degree in accounting in 1978. Rick was UND’s first wrestling All-American, earning that honor in 1975 when he finished fifth nationally. He placed third at the North Central Conference meet in 1975 and fourth at the NCC meet in 1977. Lee compiled a 75-25-4 career record while wrestling at 158, 167, 177 and 190 pounds at different times during his career. Upon his graduation from UND, Rick began working in Williston and has been with the same accounting firm (Zine, Hoover and Voller, P.C.) for 16 years, including eight years as a partner. Among Rick’s interests are golf, cribbage and watching his boys ? Matt, 16, Nick, 14 and Chris, 11 ? compete in wrestling, basketball and baseball. Rick’s wife, Lori, also is a UND graduate. The family currently resides in Williston.
