A native of Creston, British Columbia, Jensen entered UND in the fall of 1979. Jensen played 71 games as a UND hockey goalie with an overall record of 46-22-3. He ranks fifth against other UND goalies for wins (46), sixth for winning percentage (.669), eighth for goals against average (3.32), fifth for save percentage (.894).
