What is Jr. Champions?
Jr. Champions is the official kids club of University of North Dakota Athletics, open to all children 8th grade and under. The program offers both free [Jr. Champions Free] and paid [Jr. Champions Premium] membership options, each with exciting benefits, exclusive access, and special event opportunities.
Who can be a Jr. Champions member?
Membership is open to all kids 8th grade and under . Those in 8th grade, must be entering 8th grade in the current year of membership to qualify. You must rejoin every year to renew your membership.
How do I register?
Registration for the 2026-2027 school year opens at Monday, July 6. All paid membership registrations must be completed online. Free membership registration must be completed in-person at Grand Forks Gate City Bank locations.

Additional Information
How do we redeem the free/discounted Jr. Champion youth ticket?
All free/discounted youth tickets must be redeemed/purchased in-person at the Ralph Engelstad Arena Ticket Office and you must show your Jr. Champion card at time of redemeption. When redeeming/purchasing the Jr. Champion youth ticket, you are able to purchase any additional tickets you may need. All tickets will be seated together. All tickets are subject to availability. Tickets can be purchased in-person in advance.
Please note that discounted tickets for football and hockey are available for select games only. A full list of those games can be found in the events tab below.
DO NOT purchase your tickets separately. This will put your party in different locations. [ie. DO NOT purchase 2 adult tickets online and purchase 1 discounted Jr. Champion hockey ticket at the ticket office window. This will likely end up having your tickets in separate locations.]
REA Ticket Office Location/Hours
Ralph Engelstad Arena Box Office is located on the east side of Ralph Engelstad Arena in the main lobby (10am – 6pm M-F and 10am - 2pm Saturday) except holidays.
