1982-85
Rudrud helped lead UND to back-to-back NCC tennis championships in 1984 and 1985, himself winning No. 1 singles titles three years running (1983-85). He also teamed to win three straight No. 1 NCC doubles crowns in that same time span as the team advanced to the NCAA DII national tournament each season. In 1984, Rudrud became the first UND men's tennis player to win a match at the national tournament.
 
A Grand Forks, N.D., native, Rudrud has been teaching tennis for over 25 years in a wide range of settings including: coaching high school tennis teams, women's league teams, USTA men's & women's teams, director of junior programs, and has taught high school state champions.
