Hall of Fame
A native of Henning, Minnesota, Stueve was a three-time letterwinner in football from 1957-59 and baseball from 1959-60. He was named an All-North Central Conference fullback during the 1957 and 1958 seasons. Stueve claimed back-to-back North Central Conference rushing titles with 509 yards in 1957 and 428 in 1958. His 1958 performance helped lead the Sioux to their first NCC title since 1939. Stueve played as catcher for the Sioux team in 1959 and 1960. He earned his degree in education in 1960.
