Fritz Falgren

  Falgren, a native of Grand Forks, was an outstanding two-way player on the football team of C.A. (Jack) West in 1933-35. Those teams won 16 of 27 games and tied three times, in which he played a big role in many of their victories. He earned all North Central Conference honors in 1934 and again in 1935. He also served as team captain in 1935. After finishing his UND career he played one year of Canadian professional football for the Regina, Saskatchewan, Roughriders. He had and outstanding year with them and was selected All Western Canada left end.
