Hall of Fame
A native of Bottineau, N.D., Miller is a 1956 graduate of UND. He received a B.S. in physical education after earning varsity letters in football (1954-55), basketball (1955), track (1955-56) and baseball (1956). Miller was an honorable mention All-American choice and all-conference selection in football as a senior in 1955. In football he held the rushing yards records in 1955 and in track had outstanding team, sprint and relay records. He also earned all-conference accolades in basketball. A fine baseball player as well, he signed a professional baseball contract with the Minot Mallard Professional Baseball Association in 1955 as a utility player for one year.
