  Christian, a Warroad, Minn., native, was nicknamed "Ginny". He had a super hockey career, lettering in 1947-50. In his three seasons he played in 59 games and scored 62 goals. He was a member of the 1956 U.S.A. Olympic hockey tam that earned the Silver Medal and also a member of the 1955 and 1958 U.S. National hockey teams. He was an outstanding scorer and his name is still found in the UND record books. Ginny ranks among UND's all-time scoring leaders, which is quite a fete.
