GRAND FORKS, N.D. – North Dakota will close out the regular season this Friday, hosting the UND Tune-Up inside the Pollard Athletic Center.
The meet is slated to begin at 11 a.m. with field events, while action on the track starts at 2 p.m. Live results from the meet will be provided by

National Poll
In the most recent USTFCCCA rankings, the UND women rank No. 57 in the national poll. It is the third-highest the Fighting Hawks have ever ranked and beats where they usually rank at this point in the season by over 20 spots. North Dakota is also the best-ranked team from the Summit League in the poll, trailed by South Dakota at No. 67.
Kenna Curry is No. 6 in the country in the weight throw after her mark of 75-0 1/2 (22.87m) at the East Coast Invitational.
Jadyn Keeler moved up to No. 17 nationally in the 5,000 meters with her PR time of 15:28.29 at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational this past weekend.
Tiffanie Magnusson also remains ranked and is No. 32 in the nation in the pentathlon with 3,922 points scored at the Dakota Alumni Classic.
Ranked in the Midwest Region
In the latest USTFCCCA rankings, the North Dakota women remained No. 12 and the Fighting Hawk men held steady at No. 26.
On the women's side, seven Fighting Hawks sit in the top-25 in events 11 times, led by three individuals ranking in the top-10 regionally.
Jadyn Keeler paces the Hawks with the No. 1 time in the 5,000 meters and is also No. 7 in the 3,000 meters.
Kenna Curry has the No. 3 weight throw mark regionally.
Tiffanie Magnusson rounds out the top-10 for UND and is No. 7 in the pentathlon.
Five Fighting Hawks are in the top-25 of the region on the men's side.
Ethan Thomas is the top Hawk and is No. 12 in the shot put, trailed by
Shane Zierden (No. 15 in the triple jump) and
Jory Vasek (No. 19 in the 400 meters).
James Weninger and
Matej Hrebacka are also in the top-25 and are No. 21 in the high jump and No. 22 in the 3,000 meters, respectively.
North Dakota Performs Will in USTFCCCA #EventSquad Rankings
In the updated USTFCCA #EventSquad rankings, the Fighting Hawks have four groups ranked highly. The ranking system uses the best qualifying marks from a team's top-four ranked athletes in an event.

Last Time Out
North Dakota split up for a pair of meets last week and took part in both the David Hemery Valentine Invitational in Boston and the SDSU Indoor Classic in Brookings. As a group, the Fighting Hawks set four program records, placed 21 times and recorded 15 improvements on the UND top-10 lists. The meets were highlighted by

Jory Vasek,
Kenna Curry and
Matej Hrebacka setting new program records.
Towards the end of the meet in Boston on Saturday, Keeler obliterated her own school record in the 5,000 meters with a time of 15:28.29. She was the fifth collegiate finisher in the event and finished behind just eight professional runners. It was the second time she broke the record on the track in Boston, with her originally setting it at 15:57.19 at the 2024 Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener this past December.
Saturday afternoon in Brookings, Vasek finished fourth in the invitational 400 meters and broke the school record with a time of 47.81. He broke the record of Tyler Olson, who set it at 48.07 at the 2015 Big Sky Indoor Championships.
Curry shattered her own program record in Brookings on Friday night and won the shot put invitational crown with a toss of 52-0 (15.85m). She bettered her previous record of 51-8 1/4 (15.75m), which she set at the Bison Team Cup last month.
Friday evening in Boston, Hrebacka set a new school record in the 3,000 meters with a time of 8:03.05. His time broke the record of
Luke Labatte, who set it at 8:08.54 at the 2023 David Hemery Valentine Invitational.
