North Dakota slips to No. 13/15 in latest polls

GRAND FORKS, N.D. – After the 26-21 loss at South Dakota, North Dakota slipped to No. 13 in the Stats Perform Poll and No. 15 in the AFCA Coaches' Top 25 Poll.

The MVFC has seven teams represented in the Stats Perform Poll. North Dakota State remains at the top, while South Dakota State dropped to No. 8. North Dakota is No. 13, trailed by Southern Illinois at No. 15 and Illinois State at No. 16. Youngstown State and South Dakota round out the poll for the conference and are No. 21 and No. 22, respectively.

In the AFCA Coaches' Top 25, the league also has seven teams ranked. The Bison (No. 1) and Jackrabbits (No. 9) are both in the top-10. The Fighting Hawks sit No. 15, followed by the Salukis at No. 16 and Redbirds at No. 17. The Penguins (No. 22) and Coyotes (No. 25) are the final teams in the poll from the league.

No. 13/15 North Dakota will host top-ranked North Dakota State at 1 p.m. this Saturday. The game will be televised on Midco Sports and carried on the Fighting Hawks Radio Network.
