Series History vs Kansas City
North Dakota evened up the all-time series against the Roos, 3-3, earlier this season with a 76-62 win at the Betty Engelstad Sioux Center on Jan. 13. Kiera Pemberton erupted for a career-high 27 points on 8-of-13 shooting and went 10-for-11 from the charity stripe. Three other Fighting Hawks joined the freshman forward in double-figure scoring with Sammiyah Hoskin (12), Kacie Borowicz (10) and Kiyah Hurst (10).

The Fighting Hawks led by two after the first quarter and continued to build their advantage over the next 20 minutes to hold a 58-47 lead heading into the fourth quarter. NoDak pushed its lead to as many as 19 points in the final frame and iced the game at the free throw line by going 11-for-14 in the final 10 minutes.

Kacie Borowicz has a pair of 20-point outings against the Roos in her career, both during the 2021-22 season. She had 27 points in the team's first outing in her junior season and followed with 24 in the next meeting. Sammiyah Hoskin scored a career-high 15 points at Kansas City last season on 7-of-11 shooting.

Last Time Out: vs Omaha
North Dakota earned the season sweep over the Mavericks Thursday night behind a pair of 18-point performances from Kacie Borowicz and Kiera Pemberton. Mikayla Aumer rounded out the double-digit scoring with 15 points and two treys. Borowicz grabbed nine rebounds and dished out five assists, while Pemberton had eight boards. The three Fighting Hawks combined to shoot 20-for-38 from the field and 8-for-12 from the free throw line.

The Hawks soared into the halftime intermission off a 19-3 run to carry a 49-38 advantage after 20 minutes of play. The Mavericks, however, would fight back in the third quarter outscoring UND 26-9 in the frame. Five straight points from Aumer kickstarted the fourth quarter for the Hawks, as they outscored Omaha 25-17 in the frame to hold onto an 83-81 win.

Aumer-Matic
Mikayla Aumer has started to find her stride over the past five games, hitting double-digit point totals in three of those contests. Aumer set a new career-high of 15 points against South Dakota on Feb. 1, and matched that output in Thursday's win over Omaha. She finished 5-for-10 from the field against the Coyotes, and 5-for-8 from the floor against the Mavericks. In both games, Aumer was 2-of-4 from beyond the arc and 3-for-4 from the charity stripe.

Aumer's knocked down multiple three-pointers in two of her last three games and is converting a .417 percent clip from range over those games.

Moving up the Record Books
Kacie Borowicz became the ninth North Dakota women's basketball player to eclipse 400 career assists in Saturday's game against North Dakota State. Borowicz now has 403 helpers in her career at UND and can move into eighth place on the all-time list with five in Thursday's game.

Borowicz is the fourth Fighting Hawk to score over 1,500 career points and dish out over 400 assists in a career.

After scoring 27 points against the Bison, Borowicz moved into the UND career scoring list top-five and now has 1,867 points in a green and white jersey.
