GRAND FORKS, N.D. – North Dakota women's basketball returns to the Betty Engelstad Sioux Center to begin its home schedule with a game against Youngstown State on Friday, November 7, with tip off currently set for 7 p.m.
 
The Fighting Hawks and Penguins have actually never faced off on the women's basketball court, despite UND making the road trip out to Ohio last season. Due to a power outage at Zidian Family Arena, what would've been North Dakota's season opener was cancelled and declared a 'no contest'. Now is the chance for a rematch of sorts as the two teams finally have the opportunity to duke it out, this time within the comfort of home turf for UND.
 
All UND women's basketball games—home and away—can be heard on stations across the Fighting Hawks Radio Network, as well as through the iHeart Radio app, with longtime broadcaster Jack Michaels on the mic. Friday's game can be heard on 100.3 KSNR-FM, Cat Country/The CAT.
 
Tuesday's game will be carried on Midco Sports/The Summit League Network with a subscription.
