Series History vs Denver
The Hawks won their sixth straight over the Pioneers on January 20 with a 78-68 victory at Hamilton Gymnasium. UND has won the last two contests against Denver at the Betty Engelstad Sioux Center and are 3-2 all-time at home against DU. North Dakota was won by double-digits in the previous three meetings between the two teams. There have been three overtime games played between UND and DU in the 14-game all-time series with Denver holding a 2-1 lead in OT games.

The Fighting Hawks exploded for 31 third-quarter points in the earlier season meeting and shot 12-for-17 from the field, with three triples, after trailing at the halftime intermission. Four Hawks scored five or more points in the third in Kacie Borowicz (9), Kiera Pemberton (8), Kiyah Hurst (7) and Mikayla Aumer (5). UND turned a seven-point deficit at the half into a 58-42 advantage into the fourth period.

UND grabbed its largest lead of the game, 61-42, on the first possession of the fourth on a Hurst three-pointer. The Pioneers cut into the UND lead late, but the Hawks closed out the win by going 5-for-6 from the charity stripe and 2-for-3 from the field.

Last Time Out: vs Kansas City
Kansas City's fast start led them to an 86-71 win over UND Saturday after jumping out to an early 13-0 lead and 25-11 edge at the end of the first quarter. While the Hawks outscored KC 44-35 in the second and fourth quarters, they struggled offensively to begin each half.

Kacie Borowicz scored a team-high 25 points while dishing out six assists and grabbing four rebounds. It was Borowicz's 11th game this season with 20 or more points. Kiyah Hurst added 16 points with two treys and had three steals. The Hawks connected on nine three-pointers against the Roos, the third time they've made eight or more triples in a game.

Aumer-Matic
Mikayla Aumer has started to find her stride over the past four games, hitting double-digit point totals twice. Aumer set a new career-high of 15 points against South Dakota on Feb. 1, and matched that output in a win over Omaha. She finished 5-for-10 from the field against the Coyotes, and 5-for-8 from the floor against the Mavericks. In both games, Aumer was 2-of-4 from beyond the arc and 3-for-4 from the charity stripe.

Aumer's knocked down multiple three-pointers in two of her last four games and is converting at a .375 percent clip from range over those games.

Moving up the Record Books
Kacie Borowicz became the ninth North Dakota women's basketball player to eclipse 400 career assists in Saturday's game against North Dakota State. Borowicz now has 414 helpers in her career at UND and can move into eighth place on the all-time list with five in Thursday's game.

Borowicz is the fourth Fighting Hawk to score over 1,500 career points and dish out over 400 assists in a career.

After scoring 27 points against the Bison, Borowicz moved into the UND career scoring list top-five and now has 1,892 points in a green and white jersey.
