NOTES: Fighting Hawks host Mayville State for final nonconference home game

The 4-7 Fighting Hawks are set to host Mayville State for their last non-conference home game. Tip off at the Betty Engelstaf Sioux Center is set for Tuesday, December 17 at 7 p.m.
 
How to Watch
All UND women's basketball games, both home and away, are broadcast on the Home of Economy Fighting Hawks Radio Network and streamed via the iHeart Radio app, with veteran broadcaster Jack Michaels providing play-by-play commentary. Saturday's game will air on 100.3 FM (Cat Country).
 
Tuesday's game can be streamed on the Summit League Network, with a subscription.

Series History: UND vs. The Comets
UND holds the all-time series record at a dominate 36-1, having just lost their first game to Mayville State last season, 68-57. With all but four games being hosted by the Hawks, UND has gone 32-1 with the home court advantage.
 
Last Time Out: vs. Bethel
 NoDak snapped a two-game losing streak with a commanding 62-42 victory over Bethel University on Saturday afternoon. UND set the tone early with a dominant effort on both sides of the court, holding the Royals to just eight points in the first quarter. 

Kiera Pemberton led all scorers with 15 points, shooting 5-of-8 from the field and 2-of-2 from beyond the arc and 3-of-3 from the free throw line. Nevaeh Ferrara Horne added 12 points, hitting 4-of-6 from three-point range. NoDak outshot Bethel 38.1% (24-of-63) to 35% (14-of-40). From the perimeter the Hawks shot 31% (9-of-29) to the Royals 27.3% (3-of-11). UND went a perfect 5-of-5 from the free throw line.

The Hawks rank 38th nationally and are third best in the Summit League with 14.36 free throws made per game.
 
Individually, shooting 59.2% from the field, Pemberton leads the conference in shot percentage and is ranked 21st nationally. Mikayla Aumer's .881 free throw percentage is second best in the conference and ranks 40th nationally.
