The 3-6 Fighting Hawks continue their road trip to Des Moines, Iowa, where they are set to face the Drake Bulldogs on Thursday, December 12, at 5 p.m.

All UND women's basketball games, both home and away, are broadcast on the Home of Economy Fighting Hawks Radio Network and streamed via the iHeart Radio app, with veteran broadcaster Jack Michaels providing play-by-play commentary. Saturday's game will air on 100.3 FM (Cat Country).

Series History: UND vs. Drake
Thursday's matchup will mark the 10th meeting between the Fighting Hawks and the Bulldogs. UND trails in the all-time series, 2-7, with a 1-4 record on the road. The Hawks saw the Bulldogs just last season, falling 108-60 at home.
 
In that matchup, Kiyah Hurst contributed nine points and five rebounds. Miranda VanderWal, Jayla Owen, Rakiyah Beal, Nevaeh Ferrara Horne, and Fatima Ibrahim collectively added 21 points and nine rebounds.
 
Last Time Out: vs. Northern Colorado
UND faced a challenging battle and ultimately fell to Northern Colorado, 65-47, on Saturday afternoon.
 
The Fighting Hawks got an early jump with a basket by Kiera Pemberton just 15 seconds into the game, but the Bears quickly set the tone, taking a 15-7 lead.
 
Kiera Pemberton led UND with 13 points and four rebounds, marking her ninth game this season scoring in double digits. UND shot 37.2% (16-of-43) from the field and just 6.3% (1-of-16) from three-point range, compared to Northern Colorado, which shot 45.5% (25-of-55) from the field and 47.1% (8-of-17) from beyond the arc. Northern Colorado also outrebounded North Dakota 32-29.

The Hawks rank 19th nationally and lead the Summit League with 16.11 free throws made per game.
 
Individually, shooting 58.1% from the field, Pemberton leads the conference in shot percentage and is ranked 26th nationally. Mikayla Aumer's .875 free throw percentage is third best in the conference and ranks 52nd nationally.
