GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The Fighting Hawks return to the Betty for their first of three straight home games against St. Thomas Saturday at 1:00 p.m. UND is coming off a 1-1 road week after picking up a 78-68 win over Denver last Saturday.

Series History vs St. Thomas
UND is 4-2 against the Tommies all-time and an undefeated 3-0 when the game is played in Grand Forks. In both team's Summit League opener earlier this season, St. Thomas won 95-76 in St. Paul Minnesota on Dec. 29.
The Tommies raced out to a 32-17 lead after the first quarter, behind a 5-for-7 shooting performance from beyond the three-point line. UST finished the game 13-of-23 from deep, while the Hawks were 3-of-22.
Kacie Borowicz scored a season-high 32 points with three assists, three steals and five rebounds. Borowicz was also a perfect 9-for-9 from the charity stripe.
Kiyah Hurst added 12 points as the only other Hawk in double-digits.
Last Time Out: vs Denver
A big third quarter swung the momentum in the Fighting Hawks favor against Denver Saturday. Trailing 30-27 at the halftime intermission, North Dakota erupted for a 31-point third frame, while holding Denver to 12 points to take a 58-42 advantage going into the fourth quarter.
Four Fighting Hawks reached double-figures in scoring, the fifth time that's happened this season, and were led by
Kacie Borowicz's 21 points.
Kiyah Hurst chipped in 19 points and 12 rebounds for her second double-double of the year.
Kiera Pemberton and
Mikayla Aumer added 14 and 12 points, respectively. UND held an edge in paint points 42-20 and bench points 22-6.
Borowicz Earns Second Summit League Weekly Accolade
After recording a triple-double against Omaha, and helping the Hawks to a 2-0 week,
Kacie Borowicz was named the Summit League Peak Performer of the Week for the second time this season and sixth time in her career.
The Preseason Player of the Year opened her week by becoming the third player in UND history to register a triple-double. Borowicz scored 20 points, pulled down a career-high 12 rebounds and dished out a season-high 10 assists in the 100-75 victory over Omaha. The Roseau, Minn., native then tallied 10 points, a team-high seven rebounds and added two steals in a 79-61 victory over Kansas City that was UND's third in the last four games.
Messed Around and Got a Triple-Double
Kacie Borowicz added her name in the UND record book alongside two North Dakota greats,
Katie Richards and
Jenny Crouse, as the third player in program history to record a triple-double in the Hawks 100-75 win over Omaha. Borowicz scored 20 points, dished out 10 assists and pulled down 11 rebounds. Borowicz is one of 17 players in the NCAA to secure a triple-double this season, and the only player from player from the Summit League.
Richards posted a 13 point, 11 assist and 10 rebound triple-double against Morningside on Jan. 15, 2000, while Crouse had 19 points, 14 blocks and 12 rebounds against St. Cloud State on Feb. 8, 1997.
