Series History vs. Oral Roberts
The Fighting Hawks and the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles are set to match up for the ninth time in program history. Last Season the two teams traded wins and losses on each others home courts. UND trails in the win category 2-6. The struggle on the road continues to plague this Fighting Hawks team, holding a 1-4 record in Tulsa going back to 2019.
This will be the first time the head coach
Mallory Bernhard will be meeting 1st year Oral Roberts coach Kelsi Musick.
Last Time Out: vs Kansas City
The University of North Dakota Fighting Hawks fell to the Kansas City Roos, 78-67, from Swinney Center.
This is the second straight loss to Kansas City on the road. A tight game with 12 lead changes and seven ties. UND shot .383 from the field, had a season high of 38 rebounds and 20 assists.
Kacie Borowicz led the Fighting Hawks (11-7, 4-4 SL) with 16 points. She also grabbed four rebounds and had six assists.
Sammiyah Hoskin had a season high of 15 points. Shooting .636 from the field.
Joli Daninger led the team with defensive rebounds with five. She ended the night with nine points and went two for two from the charity line.
The first quarter was held closely. It featured a tie at the media time out and nine lead changes with UND coming out on top 20-18 heading into the 2nd. The Hawks continued to battle and played a tight defensive game. They took a one-point lead heading back to the locker rooms at half.
The third quarter was more of the same. UND would have their largest lead of four points.
Kacie Borowicz was held to zero points. The Roos would dominate the 4th, preventing UND from being able to make a come back by only allowing 11 points to be scored.
