LANE TAKES OVER THE LANE

Olivia Lane reached a new single game high in points against Minnesota Morris on Saturday, Dec. 4. The junior from Pequot Lakes, Minn. led the Fighting Hawks from the initial tip when she scored the first layup of the game to give them the lead. She continued to extend the lead to 4-0 off a fast break layup in the lane. The game against Minnesota Morris marks her highest scoring game of the season. After missing the initial regular season games, O. Lane made her return to the floor against the Bucknell Bison in the TD Bank Classic Tournament. She had three points and five rebounds. Since then, she has scored 11 points against Brown, eight against Siena, and the 22 against Minnesota Morris for a total of 44 points in four games. Not only is O. Lane dominating in the paint on offense, but she currently sits as the Hawks leader in rebounds (RPG 6.8). She had her highest rebounding numbers this season against Brown with a total of 12. Her dominance on the boards and help off the bench on the initial games has helped her crack back into the starting line up for the last two matches.

JODI THE JET

True freshman Jodi Anderson has been an asset off the bench for the Fighting Hawks. With key players missing, she stepped up against Weber State and scored 11 points and had nine rebounds. Anderson has continued to be an asset off the bench. She has scored 46 points coming off the bench in eight games. She currently sits tied at sixth for leaders in points.
