QUICK JUMPERS
*The University of North Dakota is off to its best start in its Division I history.
*North Dakota has received votes in the last four College Basketball Insider Mid-Major Top-25 Coaches Poll.
*Following its win at Milwaukee, UND's points increased from five to nine in the poll, 43 points shy of the top-25.
*The Fighting Hawks registered nine assists on their final 10 field goals at Milwaukee last Saturday.
*North Dakota has made at least eight three-pointers in the previous seven games, and nine times in the last 11.
*The Panthers outrebounded UND, 41-35. It was the second time this season and just the third time in the previous four seasons that the Hawks won a game despite crashing fewer boards.
*Olivia Lane has gone 19-of-23 from the field (82.6-percent) in the last five games.
*Lane finished 10-for-11 (.909) last week against Mayville State and Milwaukee, scoring a career-high 17 points against the Comets.
*The average age of the University of North Dakota roster is 19.2 years old. Alaina Jarnot is the only player that is 21 years old on the team.

On the hunt for its 10th win in its final non-conference game of the season, the University of North Dakota will head to Louisiana to take on New Orleans in The Big Easy.

A HISTORICAL START TO THE SEASON
Off to a 9-3 start, North Dakota is off to its best start since joining the Division I ranks. UND's previous best was an 8-4 start in 2013-14 and 2014-15. The 9-3 record is the program's best since 2007-08 when the Fighting Sioux started the season 12-0 in its final season as a Division II program.

SCOUTING NEW ORLEANS
Through 10 games, New Orleans owns a 3-7 record, dropping four of its last five games. The Privateers have two wins over non-Division I opponents but defeated Ole Miss on Nov. 15 in Oxford, 69-64. UNO is averaging 62.2 points per game while allowing 67 per game. New Orleans is also averaging 19.3 turnovers per game.  Individually, Rehema Franklin leads the team with 12.5 points per game and is supported by post player Asia Woods at 9.8 points per game and a team-best .447 field goal percentage.

NEXT UP
North Dakota will begin Summit League play on New Year's day when it heads to Denver to take on the University of Denver. Wednesday night's tip is set for 8 p.m. Central.
