OOPS, I DID IT AGAIN
Lexi Klabo became the first repeat Summit League Player of the Week with her honor on Dec. 31. She scored 21 and grabbed eight rebounds in the win over Purdue Fort Wayne in the team's first-ever Summit League tilt Dec. 29.
ATHLETE OF THE MONTH
The Summit League named Klabo its Female Athlete of the Month for December after her standout performance. For the month, the senior
averged 16.8 points and 7.1 rebounds per game, helping UND to four wins in the month. She sccored in double figures in all but one game and was named to the Stetson Hatter All-Tournament Team in the final non-conference games of the season. There, Klabo finished the tourney with a 28-point, 8-rebound, 5-blocked shots performance in the double-overtime win over San Francisco on Dec. 21. She made 16 free throws in that win and currently leads all of NCAA Division I in both free throws attempted and made.
WHO NEEDS YA?
North Dakota won handily over Purdue Fort Wayne on Dec. 30 without the need for a long-range bucket. UND went 0-for-7 from three-point land but won by 19. North Dakota has had several games with just one three-pointer made, but its last without a make from deep was an 86-79 win at Sacramento State on Feb. 27, 2016 (0-for-2).
31 FLAVORS
North Dakota scored a season-high 31 points in the second quarter of the Summit League opener against Purdue Fort Wayne. That total marked the third time UND has charted at least 30 points in a quarter and is the second-highest single-quarter point total for North Dakota since the game went to a quarter system (2015-16 season). All have come at home at the Betty and all have resulted in UND wins.

LEXI EXCAVATING THE RECORD BOOK
Lexi Klabo has moved into 14th place on UND's all-time scoring list, passing current associate head coach Mallory Bernhard (Youngblut) and former teammate Mia Loyd in the process. At her current pace (19.0 ppg), she would crack into the top 10 (1,531) in 7 games. She's also just seven free throw makes away from the school record and is currently among the leaders in blocked shots.
