North Dakota makes its maiden voyage into its new conference, The Summit League, when it hosts Purdue Fort Wayne Sunday afternoon at the Betty Engelstad Sioux Center. UND's move to the Summit comes after a six-year stint in the Big Sky Conference that saw North Dakota win 101 overall games, including a pair of conference titles (2014, 2017) and four postseason berths (1 NCAA, 1 WNIT, 2 WBI).
LAST ACTION
North Dakota went 2-1 at the Stetson Hatter Classic, winning the final two games on a neutral floor. UND dropped the opener to the host Hatters, then beat Western Michigan the next afternoon and closed its time in Florida with a thrilling double-overtime win over San Francisco on day three.
Â
THE SERIES WITH PURDUE FORT WAYNE
The only previous meeting between these schools came when UND beat IPFW by 30 in Fort Wayne, Ind., in the non-conference slate of North Dakota's first NCAA Division II championship season (1996-97).

Â
TEN THREES
North Dakota banged home 10 threes last Wednesday at Stetson, but it wasn't enough to overcome a 21-point deficit. It marked the most threes UND has hit since the Fighting Hawks hit 10 nearly a year to the date (Dec. 21, 2017) at South Dakota.
Â
10 DIMES
Alaina Jarnot registered 10 assists, a career high, in the loss at Stetson. She became the first UND player with double-digit assist total in a game since
Chastity Franklin's 11 in a Jan. 7, 2017 win at Southern Utah.
Â
DAILEY GOES DOWNTOWN
Melissa Dailey got blistering hot in the opening game of the Stetson Hatter Classic, hitting a UND career-best six threes in the second half alone en route to 20 points, also her most in a Fighting Hawk uniform. She tripled twice in the third quarter then buried four fourth-quarter deep ones to finish 6-for-11 from downtown.
Â
BAILEY BURIES 'EM
Bailey Strand etched a new career high with 21 points in the thrilling double-overtime win over San Francisco Dec. 21 at Stetson. She hit 8-of-12 from the floor, including two triples to help UND rally back for the win.
Â
TWENTY-POINT SCORERS
With
Melissa Dailey and
Bailey Strand each registering 20+ point games in Florida last week, UND now has four players on its active roster with 20-point games in their careers. Here's a look at the number of 20-point games for each player.

DOUBLE DOZEN DOUBLE-DOUBLES
Klabo had her streak of four consecutive double-doubles snapped at Northern Iowa. She goes into conference play with 24 for her career and this season nearly averages a double-double for the season (19.0 ppg, 8.4 rpg).
Â
LEXI EXCAVATING THE RECORD BOOK
Lexi Klabo moved into 16th place on UND's all-time scoring list, passing current associate head coach
Mallory Bernhard (Youngblut) in the process. At her current pace (19.0 ppg), she would crack into the top 10 (1,531) in 11 games. Lexi is just 49 points shy of passing former teammate Mia Loyd for 15th place (1,384). She's also currently among the leaders in free throws made and blocked shots.
