GRAND FORKS – University of North Dakota women's golf coach Kris Kroetsch announced that Fargo North standout Kate McComb has signed a valid Grant-In-Aid (GIA) to join the Fighting Hawks beginning in the 2025-26 season. 
 
"I am really excited for Kate to join North Dakota women's golf," said Kroetsch. "She is a multi-sport athlete in golf, hockey and soccer from Fargo North High. She brings an amazing energy and work ethic to everything that she is involved in. I know that she is going to be successful and in time a leader on the team."

Is a three-sport standout at Fargo North High School… Was a two-time All-EDC recipient in both golf and hockey…. Was a 2025 All-State finalist in both golf and hockey… Was named the 2024 hockey tournament MVP… Is a three-time hockey state champion.
