Series History vs South Dakota
While the Fighting Hawks own a 50-37 lead in the all-time series against the Coyotes, USD has won 15 of the last 16 matchups against UND. The two teams split last year's season series, with both earning a win on their respective home floors.

The first meeting this season was a 69-53 victory for South Dakota at the Betty Engelstad Sioux Center behind 15 points from Kendall Holmes.
Kacie Borowicz notched a double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds while also dishing out four assists.
Mikayla Aumer set a career-high with 15 points in 28 minutes off the bench on 5-of-10 shooting with two three-pointers.

After a low-scoring first quarter, with USD holding a 13-7 lead, the second quarter was offensive heavy as UND outscored the Coyotes 25-21 but trailed 34-32 at the half. The USD defense held the Hawks to 21 second half points, as they earned the 69-53 win.

Last Time Out: vs South Dakota State
The Fighting Hawks fell 103-47 to South Dakota State Thursday night at Frost Arena. A 9-2 UND run brought the Hawks within one, 13-12, of SDSU in the first quarter, but the Summit League leading Jackrabbits would run away with the win in the next three quarters.

Kacie Borowicz led all players with 23 points and was followed by
Kiera Pemberton's six points and seven rebounds.

Six Jackrabbits reached double-digit scoring and were led by Brooklyn Meyer's 17 points.

Borowicz's 40-Burger
In her last regular season game against NDSU,
Kacie Borowicz erupted for a career-high 40 points on 16-of-26 shooting with three treys. Both the 40 points and 16 made field goals are the most by a Summit League player this season. She broke her previous high of 36 points that was set last year against Omaha on March 5.

It was the Summit League points leader's second game this season with 30 or more points and was the ninth time in her career. Borowicz also leads the conference in made field goals and has connected on 10 or more field goals 14 times in her career and four times this season.

Moving up the Record Books
Kacie Borowicz moved into the No. 2 spot in the UND record book for career made free throws, and now sits with 469 free throws made on 524 attempts. Her career free throw percentage of .895 holds the top spot in the record book and is over six percent higher than Becky Moen (1999-03) who sits in second place.

Borowicz became the ninth North Dakota women's basketball player to eclipse 400 career assists in the Feb. 3 game against North Dakota State. Borowicz now has 421 helpers in her career at UND and can move into seventh place on the all-time list with three more assists.

Borowicz is the fourth Fighting Hawk to score over 1,500 career points and dish out over 400 assists in a career. After scoring 40 points against the Bison on Feb. 24, Borowicz moved into the No. 4 spot on the UND career scoring list and now has 1,983 points in a green and white jersey.

Kiera Pemberton is tied for ninth on the all-time freshman scoring list at UND. The freshman from Langley, B.C., has totaled 261 points and 165 rebounds in her first year in the green and white.
