University of North Dakota Athletics

Travis Shock is a 2001 UND graduate in athletic training, and a 2008 graduate of California University Pennsylvania in Exercise Science and Health Promotion. He joined the Department of Sports Medicine in 2017.  

After graduating from UND, Shock worked for MeritCare of of Fargo, as an outreach athletic trainer for Breckenridge High School in Breckenridge, MN. Then went on to work for at Bemidji State University with primary sport coverage was the Women's Soccer and Men's Basketball teams. Shock went back to work for Sanford Health as the outreach athletic trainer at North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton, ND as the head athletic trainer and adjunct instructor in the HPER curriculum.   

Shock, a Cando, ND native, lives in Grand Forks with his fianceé Lexi. He provides service to the Men’s Basketball program.
