S. Jake Thompson joined the Department of Sports Medicine in 2015. He is dual credentialed as both a physical therapist and athletic trainer. He graduated from UND with a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training and Psychology. He went on to get his master’s degree in physical therapy from Wichita State University. Thompson serves a physical therapist in the Center for Sports Medicine which is an outpatient clinic providing services to UND and the greater Grand Forks community. From Devils Lake, ND, Thompson and his wife Sara have four children, Isabelle, Isaac, Jake, and Alice
