Paige Peterson

Paige joined the University of North Dakota’s Department of Sports Medicine in 2025 as an Instructor and Assistant Athletic Trainer. Growing up in New Prague, MN, she developed a passion for sports medicine early on, spending significant time in the athletic trainer’s office. After graduating from high school in 2016, Paige was determined to pursue a career in sports medicine at UND, earning her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training in 2021.

Since then, Paige has worked hands-on with athletes at all levels, from middle school teams to collegiate programs. At UND, she provides dedicated care to the women’s basketball team, helping athletes recover, perform, and stay at the top of their game. At her last school Paige was able to mentor kinesiology students looking to pursue a career in sports medicine. This experience deepened her commitment to supporting the next generation of sports medicine professionals and inspired her to step into teaching. Returning to UND allows Paige to combine her love for athletics with her passion for education, continuing to make a positive impact on athletes and students alike.
