Zola transitioned to the role of Business Operations Coordinator in March 2024 after serving as the Marketing Coordinator for UND Athletics since July 2023.
In his current role, Zola assists with recording and managing the finances of UND Athletics.
As the Marketing Coordinator, Zola managed the women’s soccer team’s social media strategy and engagement during the 2023 season. He also led operations for the UND Junior Champions Kids Club, football tailgates and other social media campaigns.
Prior to joining UND Athletics as a full-time employee, Zola served as an intern with the UND Athletics Marketing department. He worked with men’s tennis and men’s ice hockey, managing social media for both programs. Zola also assisted with game-day operations across the department and supported the communications efforts of Nodak Nation.
Originally from Lino Lakes, Minn., Zola earned his Bachelor of Accountancy from UND in December 2022 before earning his master’s degree in accounting in 2023.
