Kenzie Stuart joined the University of North Dakota in November 2024 as the Assistant Coach of Strength and Conditioning.
Prior to North Dakota, Stuart spent over two years at Ashland University, where she served as both the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach and, briefly, the Interim Head Strength and Conditioning Coach. In these positions, she designed and implemented training programs for more than 200 athletes across various sports, including baseball, wrestling, and cheer/dance. Her responsibilities included conducting performance assessments, modifying training for injured athletes, and collaborating with athletic trainers and sport coaches to optimize athlete development.
Before Ashland, Stuart gained experience as a performance coach at Redline Athletics over a year and a half, where she developed strength and plyometric programs for youth and adult athletes.Â
She served as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at the University of California San Diego, where she assisted programming for men’s and women’s soccer, men’s and women’s basketball, track and field, men’s and women’s water polo, baseball, and softball.
Stuart completed internships at Stanford University and Colorado State University, where she worked with a wide range of teams and honed her skills in athlete assessment and program design.
A graduate of Colorado State University in 2016, she earned her bachelor’s degree in health and exercise science with a concentration in health promotion and nutrition. Stuart received her master’s degree in kinesiology with a concentration in coach and student athlete development from California State University, Long Beach in 2019.
A certified strength and conditioning specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), Kenzie is also certified in CPR/AED and first aid.Â
