Caroline Godwin started as the Student-Athlete Support Services (SASS) Coordinator / Learning Specialist in March 2025, where she provides academic support and guidance to the student-athletes for the teams: Football - Defense, Volleyball, Men's and Women's Golf, & Women's Track/Cross Country. She oversees the Directed Studies Program, helping students develop academic skills and strategies to achieve success in the classroom while balancing the demands of collegiate athletics.
Before joining UND, Caroline worked in Academic Services at Sam Houston State University for the Football team for 3 years 2022-2024, where she supported student-athletes through academic advising, mentoring, and program coordination. She also played a key role in student-athlete development initiatives, helping athletes build leadership skills and transition into life beyond sports.
Caroline holds a Master’s degree in Sport Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with a minor in English, both from Sam Houston State University.
She is married to her husband, Aaron Godwin, and they share their home with their beloved dog, Sky, and two cats, Black Bean and Gordita.
