MESA, Ariz. – The University of North Dakota women's golf team concluded the 2025 Summit League Women's Golf Championship on Tuesday from Longbow Golf Club in Mesa, Ariz., finishing in eighth place with a total team score of 915 (+63).
North Dakota opened the tournament on Sunday with a 319 (+35), getting steady efforts from
Kylie Warner and
Gigi Lund, who both shot 78 (+7) to lead the Fighting Hawks.
Erin Johnson and
Lily Bredemeier added rounds of 83 and 80, respectively, while
Emersyn Walker rounded out the scoring with an 84.
The second round on Monday brought a major turnaround for the Hawks, as they trimmed 22 strokes off their team score with a 297 (+13) — their best round of the tournament. Warner bounced back with a solid 73 (+2), and Walker delivered an impressive 72 (+1), the best score of her week. Johnson rebounded with a strong 73 (+2), and Lund chipped in a 79 (+8).
North Dakota closed the championship with a 299 (+15) on Tuesday. Warner capped off her tournament with a stellar 70 (-1), moving into a tie for 12th place overall at 221 (+8) and notching one of the best individual rounds of the day. Lund fired a 74 (+3) to tie for 30th at 231 (+18), while Johnson added a 78 (+7) to finish tied for 33rd with a 234 (+21). Walker posted an 80 (+9) to finish tied for 36th, and Bredemeier recorded a 77 (+6) to place 39th at 239 (+26).
